The Energy Box is a product for the optimal management and rational use of energy. More specifically, it is a hardware solution for the smart and dynamic energy management of self-consumption solutions that is able to include multiple types of consumption and generation units, energy storage systems, as well as electric vehicle charging infrastructure or vehicle-to-grid systems. The Energy Box offers the intelligence necessary to find the optimal operation of the system, to minimize energy costs, energy consumption peaks and emissions, all autonomously and automatically. The Energy Box targets self-consumption system manufacturers and Energy Service Companies (ESCo), among others. The Energy Box will allow them to offer to their clients a better integral solution capable of delivering economic and environmental benefits.
Reference Projects
Adaptation and deployment of the solution in two real demo sites in client facilities through the industrial project Sunbatt.
The prototype testing in the real world: Adaptation for new system architecture in the cloud and integration in commercial devices. The solution has been tested in its “final” version within the H2020 pilot/demonstration project ‘GrowSmarter’ in real life conditions. For a technology, it corresponds to TRL 7-8.
