Araripina and Santo Tirso have established a win-win cooperation through which they have learned and implemented new projects. Santo Tirso used support from Araripina in their engagement with local communities, and in the establishment and management of learning centers on seedlings and urban vegetation. Artists and a museum director from Santo Tirso supported Araripina to develop a sculpture project, engaging local Brazilian artists in the initiative, for the creation of an open-air museum in Araripina.
