Newly launched Resources Database makes IUC knowledge accessible to all

Case studies, webinar recordings, publications, and tools produced by the IUC programme are all available to download in one place thanks to the launch of the IUC programme Resources Database.

A series of case studies charting the challenges and successes of cross-border cooperation through the IUC programme have been produced, looking at the sustainable development aims of each pairing, the work undertaken, and the lessons learned so far. Case studies published to date explore the work of Bologna and Austin, Mannheim and Chongqing, Frankfurt and Yokohama, Rotterdam and Surat, and many more pairings.

The recordings of past IUC webinars can each be accessed through the Resources Database. Webinars have been held on a range of topics, such as smart & inclusive mobility, securing international financing for city action, integrating nature-based flood management into urban planning, and choosing locally-appropriate solutions for wastewater management. Each webinar, which draws on the experience of cities taking part in the IUC programme, can be watched in full.

IUC publications are also available to download, such as the IUC guide to international financial sources and institutions. This document provides advice on bridging the gap between international funds available for sustainable development and the funds actually deployed to enhance local projects.

Further resources are added to the database on a regular basis, so visitors are encouraged to check back regularly.
