Description

The LIFE+ REGROW project aims to regenerate a rural brownfield area, contaminated with olive mill wastewaters (OMW) from abandoned ponds and lagoons, by demonstrating different in situ bioremediation and phytoremediation strategies for site decontamination. Therefore, the area will be used to ‘grow’ a multifunctional space for educational, recreational and awareness-raising purposes.
