Learning from Umea's system to label restaurants making efforts to reduce one-time use plastic, Kamakura will review their Eco shop & Eco-shopping street certification system with a purpose to reduce the amount of plastic waste produced by restaurants and supermarkets.

Kamakura and Umeå find common ground for dialogue with citizens


On October 21, 2018, three city planners from Kamakura City arrived at Umeå airport in the north of Sweden.
